Welcome to Saptarshi Academy School Website. As the Vice-Principal of this Co-educational ICSE based institution I place my views with regard to the newly launched website of our school. In this 21st century education is not limited within the periphery of the classroom. Infact, it is broadening and becoming wider with the advent of technologies.The developing world is switching to online from manual for every official work. The School in this century will not flourish without following the present technologies.In this context, I am glad to say that Saptarshi Academy is also rising in the valley of Bijanbari following the current technology and new teaching methodology to impart quality education to the people without any discrimination of caste, creed, colour, gender and social status. I feel very fortunate to work with a visionary,hard working and generous Principal and many dedicated, caring and innovative staff members, parents and students.

Many people considered that education as a medium of getting good jobs , earning money, living a comfortable life and much more. But education doesn’t really mean this. Real meaning comes when one’s way of thinking gets changed and one starts thinking for the betterment of the society, nation and the world at large. As a whole education means holistic development of a child not only restricted to the achievements of academics but also helping the child to come up with those acquired knowledge to build up a better tomorrow, with a disciplined way of life and good character.

In Saptarshi Academy, for the holistic development of the children, we are performing several club activities and providing platforms in different fields like Games & Sports, Health and Sanitation, Literature, Cultural and Environmental, where the students are divided into five different clubs viz Games and Sports, Health and Sanitation, Literary, Cultural and Environmental to nurture their budding talents on the above mentioned fields with a healthy sense of competition besides academic excellence in every academic session of the School.

'Discipline and devotion' is the motto of the School. So we focus on our motto and teach our students how important discipline and devotion are to build good character ,which ultimately is the real achievement of education to become responsible citizens of the nation in future as today's students are tomorrow's nation builders.

I would like to end my message here with a quote of Gandhiji -“Education which does not mound character is absolutely worthless”
